0 1 Design and installation
We design, manufacture, install and maintain Faraday cages primarily for medical magnetic resonances (MRI). We have installed our solutions in scientific-research centres, technical universities as well as in other medical facilities in Poland and Europe. This proves that the solution we use is all-purpose and versatile. In addition, Flux technology is characterized by solidity and durability. These are extremely important features in such difficult fields as medicine and industry. The versatility also increases the availability of specialized filters thanks to which it is possible to connect almost every type of installation to the cage.
When designing our cages, we always try to meet the expectations of our customers, taking into account individual requirements. Using our extensive experience, we offer the most relevant solutions possible. This allows us to provide a product that meets even the most sophisticated requirements by creating a functional workplace for the final user. Over the years, we have observed changing requirements at radiology facilities in medicine and we have developed solutions that meet these expectations. We also have solutions that increase the comfort of work (e.g. acoustic package) at the highest market level.
The Flux RF cage proposed by us is based on a solid, wooden construction. Wood used as a skeleton is a product of the highest quality, prepared for us on a special order and in accordance with our requirements. This allows us to get a construction with above-standard parameters in terms of durability and reliability. This, in turn, translates into the possibility of providing a 5-year warranty in the standard. More than 120 installed RF cages are a sufficient recommendation for our products.
Flexibility and availability
We value the time of our clients, that is why we understand situations when there is very little and we need quick decisions and almost immediate start of installation. We are enabled by efficient production, several assembly brigades and a large warehouse of ready-made construction elements of cages such as doors, windows, filters and construction modules. As a result, we are able to start the installation even after three days from the moment of signing the contract for the implementation and determination of technical parameters of the cage. The standard time of preparation of the project and the production time is 2 weeks. We have our own fleet of small and large buses as well as trucks which guarantees logistic independence and reach the place of assembly on time.

Cu cage in Flux technology
Wooden cabin construction with a high-quality copper screen is our flagship solution. This type of cage is perfect for medical applications, e. g. with medical magnetic resonances (MRI). In addition to very good shielding properties and high flexibility of the construction, the cage in Flux Cu technology also provides great usable properties such as durability of the structure and interior finish, high acoustic comfort, very good fitting of individual elements and modern design. Flux Cu cages meet all the minimum requirements of each of the medical magnetic resonance suppliers available on the market.
Al and Galv cage in Flux technology
Full aluminum (Al) or galvanized steel (Galv) cabin construction is our another high-quality solution of Faraday cage. These constructions are more focused on applications such as scientific-research institutes or technical universities. The Al and Galv cages have very good shielding properties in a very wide frequency range. These are typical modular constructions, less flexible in their design and requiring more precise assembly. They offer higher technical parameters with less pressure on usability or aesthetics of individual components. The Al and Galv cages are used depending on the client’s requirements.
0 3 Cage components
The RF door for Flux Cu cages is made in a way that combines the best properties of materials such as stainless steel, aluminum and copper. The standard size of one-leaf door is 1200x2100mm in the clear opening of the door frame. However, every door size is available on special order. We also offer double-leaf hinged RF doors, sliding and double-leaf sliding RF doors. Manual and power operated. The standard acoustic parameters are Rw = 38-40dB. All our standard doors are supplied in white. But each colour from the RAL palette is available on special order.

RF doors to Al and Galv cages have non-standard parameters, each designed and adjusted to the customer’s needs.
Flux RF door is one of the best products of this type on the market. The highest quality materials, very good workmanship, durability and unique design and the soft work of our door are the basic features that make them stand out.
Standard size of the RF window is 900x1200mm in clear opening. We can prepare RF window wide from 1200mm up to 2200mm and high from 900mm up to 1800mm in standard version. Larger windows require a segmented construction and are available on special order.
Each of these RF windows can be made as an external RF window called “daylight window”.

RF windows in the Flux technology can be made as observation or daylight windows with a solid construction, which are characterized by very good performance parameters. The “sandwich” construction provides Rw acoustic parameters of minimum 40 dB. The glass formats used are special high-quality safety glass that guarantees perfect transparency and reduces reflections.
Our quench pipe installations are made in accordance with the QLD guidelines. The pipe sections prepared for production are pressure tested. Also the entire installation, after being placed in the customer’s facility, is fully pressure tested. Only this approach to the issue of the helium pipe and the use of the highest quality materials guarantees the safety of work in its vicinity.
We carry out technically advanced, specialist installations in the field of quench pipe, i.e. with the necessity of using climbing equipment, special ladders and lifts, in buildings with the supervision of a monument conservator and in existing technical shafts.
We have completed over 150 installations of helium pipes in Poland and Europe. Each installation is covered by a 5-year warranty.
Quench pipe is a highly specialized installation that requires correct and careful installation, as it has a big impact on the safety of work in the medical magnetic resonance facility. Its unskilful assembly may carry dangerous consequences. Being aware of the dangers, having experience and constantly supplementing knowledge about increasingly restrictive requirements provided by magnet suppliers, we offer our solution that meets all market requirements.
0 4 Interior finishing
The 2-FL interior fit out follows the latest trends by offering modern colours and technically advanced solutions such as:
- Two-zone LED lighting as standard,
- Any configuration of the number of standard filters under the end user’s requirements,
- Marking Gauss line zones with another colour of the floor covering, supporting a coloured vinyl line or special coloured tapes for floors,
- CS-1 and CS-2 shelves for coils in standard,
- Easy to clean surfaces with hygienic certificate for 2-FL type of interior (PZH),
- The entire interior of 2-FL is made of flame retardant materials, in accordance with the latest requirements and confirmed by the fire classification by Building Research Institute (ITB).
The interior of the Faraday cage can be adapted to any customer’s requirements – standard and individual ones, on special order. The 2-FL standard materials used to finish the interior are the highest quality products and the whole is covered by a 5-year warranty.

0 5 Magnetic shielding
The use of magnetic shielding in the case of medical magnetic resonances always depends on the type of magnet (source of strong magnetic field) and the conditions prevailing at the place of assembly. The assumption is to limit or remove the effect of a strong magnetic field on devices located near the magnetic resonance test (MRI) room as well as the negative effect of the magnetic field on people with, for example, a pacemaker.
Sometimes it is also necessary to isolate the magnetic resonance test room from the negative influence of external factors on the MRI work, for example, the proximity of the street with high traffic.
In these cases, passive magnetic shielding is most commonly used. Each time individually matched to the requirements of a given location.

0 6 Servicing and support
Our specialized team of engineers performs the service of measuring frames on radio frequencies (RF). The equipment we use is laboratory equipment that has all the certificates and legalizations required by law. The whole provides high quality service and precise measurement results. We perform general as well as local tests using smaller, more precise probes.
Based on this experience, we can offer you the location and repair of a leaky Faraday cage in the RF range. We undertake repairs of cages:
- After flooding of cages (atmospheric or from water / sewage installations),
- After mechanical damage to the screens (drilling, tears, etc.),
- After incompetent or incorrect installation of cages of unknown origin.
We also do:
- Modernization and refreshing of existing cages of any vendor,
- Upgrade of cages – we add filters, we modernize lighting systems inside cages, we add devices and equipment that raise the standard and quality of work in facilities with magnetic resonance,
- Deinstallation and purchase of cages,
- Changing the location of cages (cage removals),
- Modernization of quench pipes.
Measurements, repairs and modernizations
Each newly constructed RF cage requires a test of the shielding effectiveness after its installation in order to confirm that the specified shielding parameters have been met in the given frequency ranges. Galvanic separation of cages from other branch installations also requires verification and confirmation. Negative measurement results may result in the inability to install and calibrate devices intended for use in the Faraday cage. This fact applies to both new cages as well as those in use. Flux Cu cages meet all the minimum requirements for shielding efficiency required by leading magnetic resonance suppliers.
